On September 17, 2024, over 1,000 individuals, including Hezbollah members and medics, were injured in Lebanon when their pagers detonated, according to reports.
The explosions occurred in Beirut, near the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC).
Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad reported that the death toll from the incidents has risen to 12, including two children.
Both Hezbollah and the Lebanese government have blamed Israel for the explosions, though Israel has yet to comment on the accusations.
