Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated that retirement may be on the horizon for him. He mentioned that he doesn’t have “much time left” to continue playing football.
Ronaldo made these remarks following his goal in the team’s 2-1 victory over Al Rayyan in the AFC Champions League. After the match, he said, “I’m just enjoying playing football now, knowing I don’t have much time left on the pitch. It’s no longer important for me to be the best player or to win awards. What matters now is to enjoy myself and help my team.”
Since joining Al Nassr in December 2022 after a contentious departure from Manchester United, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has only secured the Arab Club Champions Cup.
