Former President Donald Trump launched a verbal attack on the hosts of The View, calling them “degenerates” and “dumb women” following Vice President Kamala Harris’s appearance on the show.
Trump expressed his frustrations on Truth Social and X, particularly upset with Harris’s response when asked if she would do anything differently from President Joe Biden. While she initially stated that she wouldn’t change anything, later in the interview, she suggested she would appoint a Republican to her Cabinet.
This prompted Trump to post a response on X, criticizing Harris as “Lyin’ Kamala” and claiming she affirmed Biden as “the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.” He claimed that the media was ignoring the situation and that the hosts regretted their question.
In a follow-up post on Truth Social, Trump reiterated that he was responsible for capping insulin prices at $35, not Harris.
Harris’s appearance was part of a media push for her campaign, during which she criticized Trump and other Republicans for spreading falsehoods regarding Hurricane Helene’s response.
Host Ana Navarro accused Trump of lying about FEMA aid distribution, prompting Trump’s claim that Harris misused FEMA funds on housing for migrants. In response, Harris labeled Trump’s comments as irresponsible and self-serving.
Trump has had longstanding feuds with The View hosts, particularly Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar, who has been outspoken against him, calling him a “true sociopath” earlier this year.
