Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a strong warning to Hezbollah after an alleged assassination attempt against him and his wife, calling it a “grave mistake.”
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Netanyahu said the attempt by Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy, would not deter Israel from continuing its fight against enemies to ensure its future.
He also warned Iran and the “Axis of Resistance” — which includes Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis — that anyone who harms Israeli citizens will face severe consequences. He emphasized that Israel is committed to achieving its war goals and reshaping regional security following the October 7 attack.
The warning came after a UAV was launched towards Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea, though neither he nor his wife were at home, and no injuries were reported.
