President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, which will focus on the current situation in the Middle East.
The summit is being hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, following last year’s event in the same city.
At the summit, President Tinubu will address the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict, stressing Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and a swift, peaceful resolution.
Accompanying the president are government officials including Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of Information and National Orientation Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed.
