The Libyan Department for Combating Illegal Migration recently deported seven Nigerians, three Bangladeshis, and three Ghanaians who had been detained at the Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center.
The deported individuals were sent back to their home countries via Benina International Airport in Benghazi after being found guilty of entering Libya illegally.
Migrant Rescue Watch, in a statement posted on their X account on Tuesday, confirmed that the 13 migrants were deported for breaking Libyan laws, stating: “DCIM deported from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center 13 #migrants (Bangladesh 3, Ghana 3, and Nigeria 7) via Benina International Airport in Benghazi. All individuals were deported for violating laws in force in the Libyan state.”
