Bianca Ojukwu, widow of the late Biafran leader Odumegwu Ojukwu, has reaffirmed her dedication to securing the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a recent statement, she expressed her strong support for Kanu and the fight for justice, declaring her willingness to do whatever it takes to secure his freedom.
Ambassador Ojukwu also called for an end to the ongoing violence in the South-East, highlighting that the Igbo people are not known for turning against their own.
During the 13th memorial anniversary of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in Owerri on Tuesday, Bianca stated, “The release of Nnamdi Kanu is crucial to distinguishing true freedom fighters from those causing chaos in the Southeast. Our people face serious threats, and we must take action to restore peace.”
