NFL Star Joe Burrow’s Home Burglarized While Leading Team to Victory in Dallas
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is the latest athlete to face a home break-in while away on a road trip with his team.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Burrow’s $7.5 million Ohio home was burglarized and ransacked during the Bengals’ 27-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday.
A 911 call from a woman, whose daughter was staying at Burrow’s house, revealed that someone was attempting to break in. The daughter also called 911, stating the house had been broken into and was left in disarray.
This incident follows recent burglaries targeting the homes of Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
The NFL has issued a security alert, warning players of organized crime rings targeting athletes’ homes during games. The league urged players to safeguard valuables and avoid sharing personal information online.
Authorities suspect a South American crime ring in the Chiefs’ cases, where cash and property were stolen.
Burrow and the Bengals have yet to comment on the burglary.
