Prominent attorney Tony Buzbee, known for filing lawsuits against Diddy and Jay-Z, is now facing serious accusations of transmitting a sexually transmitted infection (STI) to a woman he was dating.
In a lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court, a woman referred to as “Jane Doe” claims Buzbee exploited her since their online meeting in 2018. She alleges he booked a room at a luxury hotel, where they engaged in sexual activity without him disclosing his STI status. The specific infection was not named in the suit.
The woman says she experienced discomfort soon after the encounter, prompting her to visit a doctor, who confirmed she had contracted an STI. When she informed Buzbee, he allegedly apologized but did not appear surprised, suggesting he already knew about his condition. She claims he urged her to remain silent about the diagnosis and offered free legal services as compensation.
Despite feeling ashamed and heartbroken, the woman says she continued seeing Buzbee, accusing him of manipulating her into keeping quiet.
Buzbee addressed the allegations on Instagram, calling the lawsuit part of a “smear campaign” orchestrated by parties connected to his ongoing legal battles. He stated, “This latest case, like the others, is frivolous, laughable, and ridiculous and will be dismissed. This conspiracy to discredit me and intimidate me from pursuing claims in the Diddy litigation has become criminal.” He also alleged that the plaintiff’s attorney demanded $20 million to avoid tarnishing his reputation and vowed to take legal action against those he believes are behind the claims.
RocNation issued a response, denying any involvement in the lawsuit and criticizing Buzbee’s accusations. They stated, “God is behind that sunlight you keep referencing. We are not the source of every sunlight that you get, but Roc sunshine is coming your way, Mr. 1800.”
