Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has announced his separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay, revealing that they have filed for divorce.
Sharing the news on his Instagram account on Sunday, 2Baba wrote:
“Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. This message is short but also long… Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while now and have filed for divorce.
“I will issue a press release soon to share my story—not because anyone is entitled to my personal life, but because I value my people and want them to understand my innocence or mistakes. Stay blessed, my people. I love you all.”
This announcement follows long-standing rumors of marital issues, including allegations of infidelity that Annie had previously raised against 2Baba.
