Kanye West has expressed strong support for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently facing serious legal charges. While many in the industry have stayed quiet or distanced themselves, West has openly called on President Donald Trump to grant Combs a pardon before his trial begins.
On social media, West posted, “FREE PUFF,” and urged Trump to “PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.” He also criticized other celebrities for not supporting Combs, likening it to the lack of backing Chris Brown received during his controversies.
Combs, who was arrested in September, remains in custody after being denied bail multiple times. He faces charges of sex trafficking and other offenses, with his trial set for May 5. If convicted, he could face a life sentence. Additionally, he is dealing with multiple lawsuits related to sexual misconduct, some involving minors.
West’s appeal to Trump comes after the President pardoned several individuals involved in the January 6th Capitol riot. Despite the serious nature of the charges against Combs, West has continued to make headlines with his unwavering support.
