Former Vice President Kamala Harris has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation, focusing on speaking engagements and publishing. CAA will support her post-White House initiatives by creating strategic opportunities to amplify the causes she has long championed.
This marks Harris’ return to the agency, which previously represented her before she became the 49th Vice President—the first woman, Black American, and South Asian American to hold the position. She also made history as the first Black and South Asian woman nominated for president by a major political party.
Harris will soon receive the Chairman’s Award at the NAACP Image Awards, recognizing individuals who excel in public service and use their platforms for meaningful change. She will accept the honor at the ceremony on February 22, marking her first TV appearance since leaving office.
Her signing follows that of former President Joe Biden, who rejoined CAA two weeks earlier. During his previous tenure with the agency from 2017 to 2020, Biden published a bestselling memoir, embarked on a national book tour, and headlined major speaking engagements.
