Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning that any attack on Iran will provoke a “devastating” response.
The statement by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami comes amid rising tensions between Tehran and Washington, particularly regarding military actions in Yemen and Iran’s regional influence. Salami emphasized that Iran will take full responsibility for its actions and will openly acknowledge them when necessary. He also clarified that while Iran supports the Houthi movement, it does not dictate their actions. This warning follows recent U.S. airstrikes in Yemen and threats related to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, raising concerns about further escalation.
