Kim Porter’s mother, Lila Mae Star, has passed away. Kim’s son, Quincy Combs, shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram late Wednesday, expressing that his “heart is shattered.” Quincy, who was Kim’s child with record producer Al B. Sure! but was later adopted by Diddy, posted a photo of Lila surrounded by purple flowers, paying tribute to her “legacy of love.” He stated that she passed away peacefully and will be remembered for her “warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.” Kim and Diddy’s 17-year-old twins, D’Lila and Jessie, also shared the message on their joint Instagram account.
Lila’s passing comes just months after D’Lila and Jessie paid tribute to their late mother on the 6th anniversary of Kim’s death.
Lila is survived by Kim’s father, Jake Porter, who had previously criticized Diddy after surveillance footage of him attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, was made public. Jake Porter described Diddy as a “very jealous person” who “doesn’t know what love is,” despite Kim being in love with him.
