Former President Donald Trump has started selling “Trump 2028” merchandise, fueling speculation that he may be seriously considering a third presidential run.
In recent weeks, Trump has teased the idea of another campaign in 2028, despite the 22nd Amendment prohibiting more than two terms. He’s hinted there could be loopholes, and Steve Bannon has boldly claimed Trump will run and win again. While Trump hasn’t confirmed such intentions, he’s spoken eagerly about the idea of facing off against former President Barack Obama.
On Thursday, Eric Trump shared a photo of himself wearing a “Trump 2028” hat, linking to TrumpStore.com where the $50 cap is being sold. The listing features Eric’s Instagram photo and notes the product is made in the U.S. The line also includes a “Trump 2028” t-shirt with the slogan “Rewrite the Rules” and red can coolers bearing the same branding.
