Annie Macaulay has announced the upcoming launch of her own online TV platform, Annie Macaulay TV, marking a new chapter in her life following her separation from Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
In an interview with BBC News Pidgin at the 17th Headies Awards on April 28, 2025, she shared that the project is already in progress, with a new series scheduled to premiere soon. “I’m working on my own TV station, Annie Macaulay TV. We’ve already completed a series that will air very soon,” she revealed. Annie also spoke warmly about the support of her children and family during this period of change, saying, “My children and family are doing well. My first daughter is studying abroad—don’t joke with her or my kids; they’re my backbone.”
At the event, she made waves with a public message to single women, which quickly went viral online.
Meanwhile, 2Baba has also been in the news for reconciling with his mother, Rose Idibia, suggesting both he and Annie are entering new phases in their lives.
