Diddy’s trial kicked off last week, and his legal team has already stirred controversy by claiming his relationship with Cassie involved “mutual violence.”
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, made the statement during an exchange with prosecutor Emily Anne Johnson. But longtime rival 50 Cent isn’t buying it. Taking to Instagram, 50 mocked the defense, writing, “Your Honor, this theory of Cassie kicking Diddy a**, I’m not buying it!” He paired the post with an AI-generated image of himself looking serious in court.
This isn’t 50’s first time trolling Diddy with AI—earlier this week, he posted another fake image of himself as the entire jury.
Jury selection in the case is ongoing and expected to wrap up by Monday, with opening statements likely to begin Tuesday.
During the process, several names have come up, including Michael B. Jordan—who Cassie allegedly had a “flirtatious relationship” with in 2015—and Kid Cudi, whose car reportedly exploded after Diddy allegedly issued a threat over his connection to Cassie.
