According to reports, Tory Lanez, the Canadian rapper has been transferred to California Men’s Colony (CMC), roughly three hours from the facility where the incident of his stabbing occurred.
Lanez’s attorney, Crystal Morgan, confirmed he’s recovering from a collapsed lung and 14 stab wounds, though he’s reportedly not thrilled about the transfer.
The move was made for his safety, but it comes amid renewed scrutiny of the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, including alleged new evidence. Megan’s legal team sharply criticized Lanez’s continued claims of innocence, citing what they called overwhelming evidence of guilt. Megan herself also spoke out on Instagram, expressing frustration over ongoing harassment related to the case.
Meanwhile, political voices have joined the conversation — with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna calling on Governor Gavin Newsom to pardon Lanez.
