On Tuesday, May 27, President Donald Trump revealed that he had issued full pardons to Todd Chrisley, 56, and Julie Chrisley, 52. The couple had been convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022 and began serving their sentences in January 2023.
Speaking to their children in a phone call, Trump said, “It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean. I hope we can do it by tomorrow.”
Todd and Julie had been actively appealing their convictions since their sentencing in November 2022.
