Snoop Dogg expressed feeling “very surprised” by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial and shared his thoughts on leadership and treating people well in the industry amid recent events.
The two hip-hop legends, whose friendship dates back to the early ’90s despite their East and West Coast roots, have long respected each other.
Speaking to The Shade Room, Snoop said he never expected this situation and emphasized his approach to leadership—treating people with respect, fostering love even in separations, and learning from past bosses to be better himself. He acknowledged not knowing every detail about those around him and stressed the importance of being fair in business because he understands the pain of bad deals.
Previously, Snoop had openly expressed his affection for Diddy, clarifying that despite public rumors fueled by their coastal differences, they have always had mutual respect and love for their shared music and history.
