A Florida man, Sheldon Biddle, 25, has been arrested after allegedly making violent threats online against President Donald Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino, according to police. One of Biddle’s posts on X (formerly Twitter) warned Trump to “shut up before you end up like Kennedy.”
Authorities say Biddle also posted inflammatory messages expressing deep frustration with the government and threatened violence, including, “Do I have to expletive k*ll someone to get attention?”
The Ormond Beach Police Department confirmed Biddle faces state charges for written threats to kill or cause bodily harm and was wanted on a federal warrant. He was arrested at a park on North Nova Road and remains in custody without bond.
Police say Biddle’s social media activity includes antisemitic, racist, and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric, along with threats directed at figures like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and public personalities such as Ted Nugent. He is accused of calling Trump a “tyrant” and expressing regret for voting for him due to his support for Israel.
A federal indictment accuses Biddle of knowingly threatening the president’s life, referencing an intent to see Trump assassinated for “treason.”
The U.S. Secret Service is investigating, and federal charges are now pending.
