Elon Musk recently received an open letter from former NBA power forward Etan Thomas, who challenged the Tesla and SpaceX CEO to reveal how he allegedly rigged the recent U.S. elections to keep Donald Trump in office.
Musk and Trump have been embroiled in a public feud for some time, drawing widespread attention.
Initially, Musk served as a special advisor during Trump’s presidency and was credited by some as a key factor in Trump’s reelection. Musk also financially supported Trump’s campaign last year. However, their relationship soured after Musk criticized Trump’s tariff policies, prompting Musk to step down from his advisory role.
In a tweet addressed to Musk, Thomas wrote, “Dear @elonmusk, Seeing you two feud has been very entertaining. We all knew #Trump was in the Epstein Files, and that’s why they haven’t been released, and we knew you got him re-elected. Now you should reveal how exactly you rigged the election for him to win. That would end Trump.”
Musk also tweeted about Trump’s name appearing in the Epstein files—federal documents linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. According to Musk, many high-profile figures, including Trump, are named in these files. Musk claimed that the reason the files haven’t been released is to protect Trump’s reputation. During his campaign, Trump promised to make the files public but has yet to do so since taking office.
Musk tweeted, “Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
Currently, Musk appears to be openly clashing with his former ally Trump, who has responded with his own attacks and stated he is not ready to reconcile with Musk.
