Ten young females, between the ages of 15 and 18, who were trafficked to Ghana have been recovered, according to Abike Dabiri Erewa, the head of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
It was said that the females who were saved by the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) were seduced into becoming prostitutes in Ghana.
This was revealed by Erewa in a sequence of tweets that she posted on het X account on Friday, June 7.
