Rapper Travis Scott was arrested early Thursday in Miami on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing, as indicated by jail records.
Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was taken into custody at 4:35 a.m. local time. He posted a $650 bond and was subsequently released.
The Miami Beach Police Department reported that Scott was shouting obscenities at someone on a yacht in the Miami Beach Marina, and officers detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath.
The individual on the yacht did not wish to press charges, only wanting Scott to leave.
Police instructed Scott to leave the dock, but as he walked away, he continued to shout obscenities.
Although he initially complied, Scott returned five minutes later, and when officers tried to prevent him, he became erratic and continued yelling.
Scott admitted to drinking and remarked, “it’s Miami,” according to the police report. He has since submitted a written not guilty plea for the misdemeanor charges.
Following his release, the 33-year-old rapper posted “Lol” on X (formerly Twitter) and shared a meme of his mugshot on Instagram.
Known for hits like “Sicko Mode” and “Highest in the Room,” Scott shares two children with his ex, Kylie Jenner. He is set to begin the European leg of his “Circus Maximus Tour” next week and perform in Brazil’s Rock in Rio festival in September.
Scott was previously involved in an altercation at a New York City nightclub in March 2023, where he allegedly punched a sound engineer and caused $12,000 in damage.
His lawyer, Mitchell Schuster, referred to it as a misunderstanding, and Scott reportedly settled with the club without being arrested.
