Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, a prominent Nigerian e-commerce company, and current CEO of D.light, a leader in residential solar energy solutions, tragically died by suicide.
He reportedly took his own life by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday, June 25.
Before his death, he contacted his brother in the United States to discuss the distribution of his wealth and reassured his young daughter from a previous relationship that he would always be with her, visible in the sky.
His sudden death has left his friends, family, and colleagues shocked and searching for answers.
Imudia, originally from Delta State’s Ika South Local Government Area, had previously been married but the relationship ended due to irreconcilable differences.
