Former President Donald Trump speaking through his truth social platform expressed gratitude to law enforcement, including the Secret Service, for their swift response following an incident at his rally in Pennsylvania, where he was reportedly struck near the upper part of his right ear by either a bullet or shrapnel.
Multiple shots were fired during the rally, resulting in one fatality and critical injuries to two others.
Trump, also extended condolences to the victims’ families and lamented the occurrence of such violence in the country.
