Rapper T.I. was mistakenly arrested at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, according to reports by TMZ.
The 43-year-old artist was handcuffed on Sunday night because police had an arrest warrant for someone named Clifford Harris, which is T.I.’s real name.
However, the warrant was actually for a different Harris wanted in Baltimore, Maryland, for stalking and violent behavior toward a woman.
T.I. was taken to Clayton County Jail but was released after contacting his attorney, Steve Sadow.
A judge has since dismissed the order for his extradition to Maryland.
