President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations and best wishes to Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of Maulud Nabiy, which celebrates the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President encouraged Muslims to use this time for deep reflection on the Prophet’s exemplary life and teachings.
He highlighted virtues such as purity, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion as qualities to be embraced.
President Tinubu also called on Muslims to dedicate the Maulud holiday to praying for the nation and showing empathy towards each other.
Additionally, he expressed condolences to the people and Government of Zamfara State following recent floods in Gummi Local Government Area and the tragic death of over 40 farmers in a boat accident.
