Donald Trump stated that 2024 will be his final presidential campaign, indicating he won’t run again in 2028 if he loses this November.
In an interview on Full Measure, he told host Sharyl Attkisson, “No, I don’t,” when asked about a potential fourth run, expressing certainty that this would be his last attempt.
Trump first entered politics with his 2016 presidential win but lost his reelection bid in 2020. He is currently campaigning against Vice President Kamala Harris for a second term.
At 78, Trump is in a race where age has been a significant issue, especially as he was initially set to face President Joe Biden, who is 81. However, Biden withdrew from the race in July due to concerns from other Democrats about his age and mental sharpness.
