Police are investigating a swatting incident that occurred at actress Jennifer Aniston’s home in Los Angeles, California.
Last Friday, law enforcement received a distressing call, leading them to conduct a welfare check at an address that turned out to be Aniston’s.
According to reports, the caller, who remained anonymous, expressed concern for their “friend,” claiming the individual was struggling with depression. They provided an address but withheld a name.
When police arrived at Aniston’s home shortly after midnight, they were met by the actress’s security team.
Upon realizing whose home they were at, officers spoke with the 55-year-old Aniston, who assured them she was fine and not in any danger.
This incident is classified as “swatting,” a criminal act where someone falsely reports an emergency to prompt a police response at the victim’s home.
