Controversial Nigerian crossdresser and media figure Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has taken to social media to address the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) amid ongoing bribery allegations.
In recent reports, Bobrisky claimed that the EFCC is attempting to frame him and is planning to detain him again. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he expressed his fear of returning to prison while denying any involvement in the accusations against him.
He stated his willingness to cooperate with any investigation, provided it is fair and conducted independently, without coercion. Bobrisky accused certain individuals of trying to manipulate audio recordings to implicate him, asserting that he neither created nor shared the controversial tapes being used against him.
His public defense follows weeks of scrutiny regarding his extravagant lifestyle and recent bribery claims involving officials. Bobrisky assured his followers that he believes God will clear his name and stated he is prepared to confront any accusers in court if necessary.
This situation adds another chapter to Bobrisky’s already complex public image as his legal issues continue to develop.
