Detectives investigating the Diddy case have reportedly traveled to the UK to search for potential British victims.
Sean Combs, 54, faces trial on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, having pleaded not guilty to all accusations. He has been denied bail several times.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, announced that they do not intend to accept a plea deal and are committed to contesting the charges.
Investigations are ongoing, with US investigators in the UK to look for additional potential victims.
A team of detectives arrived in London last week due to concerns that Combs may have abused women while frequently visiting the UK during his three-decade career in music.
He has made numerous appearances in London for talk shows, film sets, and business trips, even socializing with royalty and music legends.
Combs’s notable visits to the UK include attending Sir Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball in 2001 and performing at the Concert for Diana in 2007, where he mingled with Prince William and Prince Harry. He also spent two years working in the UK for the film Get Him to the Greek.
In June 2010, he launched his fashion brand Sean John in London, expressing his fondness for Europe and calling London a “second home.” There is no indication that any of the celebrities or royals he interacted with are implicated in the ongoing investigations.
The US detective team is reportedly led by Damian Williams, the prosecutor known for his successful case against Ghislaine Maxwell.
A source stated that Combs spent considerable time in London, raising concerns that his alleged offenses may extend beyond the US.
Prosecutors are urging anyone in the UK with relevant information to come forward.
Currently, Diddy is held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, previously home to R. Kelly and Maxwell. He has denied allegations of running a sex crime operation and maintains his innocence, planning to fight the case vigorously.
Agnifilo has claimed that racism plays a significant role in the case, reflecting the federal government’s bias against successful Black men, a sentiment Combs reportedly shares.
Additionally, a former inmate at the detention center suggested that Combs might be refusing food out of paranoia and is on suicide watch due to the serious allegations against him.
A former bodyguard has alleged that Combs kept recordings of his so-called “freak off” parties, where he is accused of facilitating drugged, extended sexual encounters for female victims and sex workers, some of whom allegedly required IV drips to recover afterward.
