More updates are being revealed about the disgraced rap mogul. According to reports, Sean “Diddy” Combs agreed to pay over $6 million to a male sex worker who claimed he was treated like a sex slave, a detail that had not been previously disclosed.
Reports indicate that this hush money was part of an agreement with a man who alleged he was paid to have sex with both Diddy and the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The non-disclosure agreement was meant to prevent the sex worker from discussing the incident or making negative comments about Diddy or Ventura.
The escort, represented by his attorney from Florida, approached Diddy several years ago, negotiating the payment in exchange for silence regarding claims of misconduct and trafficking. Although the identity of the man has not been disclosed, he reportedly provided information to federal prosecutors and testified before a grand jury that is considering further charges against Diddy.
This undisclosed settlement was negotiated by Mark Geragos, a prominent Los Angeles attorney known for representing high-profile clients, including Michael Jackson.
Geragos lists Diddy among his clients alongside other celebrities like Chris Brown and Jussie Smollett. His daughter, Teny Geragos, is also part of Diddy’s legal team.
A source familiar with the case indicated that the civil settlement did not prevent the man from sharing his account of events with federal authorities.
However, defense sources caution that the prosecution should be wary of relying on testimony from someone who received hush money, as it could weaken their case.
Diddy, currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail, faces serious charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution, stemming from a September 17 indictment.
Allegations of sex tapes involving celebrities and underage victims have surfaced alongside these charges, with indications that additional indictments may be forthcoming as the grand jury continues to hear new evidence.
Witness testimonies, including that of a male sex worker who claimed Diddy flew him to a party characterized by heavy drug use and alcohol, are pivotal in the ongoing investigation.
Law enforcement sources suggest that continuing to present evidence to the grand jury indicates a significant escalation in the case, potentially leading to more charges against the 54-year-old musician.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty as he seeks bail again.
