Kim Kardashian ‘s daughter, North West, landed the cover of Interview Magazine for its Fall 2024 issue at just age 11.
The SKIMS founder, 43 – who recently put on a stylish display while stopping by ChainFEST LA – joined the discussion with her eldest child during the new, candid interview.
North has made a variety of recent milestones aside from the latest cover this year – such as landing a role in The Lion King’s 30th anniversary concert and appearing on her father, Kanye West ‘s, Vultures 2 album.
The 11-year-old opened up about a variety of topics with her mother, including her dislike of school, her dad and her faith in God.
On the cover, North flashed a big smile as she sported a camouflage jacket as well as a matching pants that stopped inches above her ankles.
She slipped into a pair of black socks as well as camouflage boots to coincide with her ensemble.
Both yellow and green stickers were added to her face, as well as ‘North’ that was placed across her forehead.
During the interview, Kim asked her daughter a ‘lesson’ that she will ‘never forget’ – to which North responded with, ‘To trust God only.’
The reality star added, ‘That’s a great lesson,’ and then followed by asking North to reveal her ‘favorite class.’
‘I don’t like school,’ the 11-year-old replied, adding that while she enjoys art, her ‘art class is very annoying. My favorite class is probably Latin.’
Another question was, ‘What do you do to help other people?’ and North answered, ‘Spread the gospel. Tell them about God, and how problems get solved if they follow his word and his way.’
North also reflected on ‘the best day’ in her life and revealed it was in Italy with her father, Kanye West.
Kardashian and West were married from 2014 until their divorce was finalized in 2022 – and the former couple share North, as well Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five.
When describing the trip to her mother, North recalled, ‘It was just us and my siblings, and that’s when I really brought them close to God, because we had this house and there was these devil statues, and I was like, “Mm-mm, mm-mm, no, girl.”‘
She added, ‘I was like, “We got to pray.” So then I taught Chi and Psalm and Saint how to pray. God really did his thing after.’
North also revealed that her favorite place to travel to is Japan.
Earlier this year in June, North and her siblings were spotted enjoying a shopping trip with Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, in Tokyo.
It was reported earlier this month that West and Censori had split – but just days later, were spotted packing on the PDA in Japan.
And last year, both Kim and her eldest daughter were seen having a blast during their luxurious vacation in Japan.
North notably fluently rapped in Japanese on her father’s Vultures 2 album on the track titled, Bomb.
In regards to what she ‘loves’ about the country, North explained, ‘Everything. Everybody’s style is on point. Or New York, because the streetwear there is – yes. And New York is really fun.’
In regards to her ‘favorite style’ at the moment, North revealed to Kim that she likes, ‘streetwear and the ’90s. Tyler, the Creator; my dad; me.’
She also expressed, ‘I am starting my own clothing line,’ and revealed that it will be named after herself.
The the topic of conversation later shifted to the future, with Kim asking, ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’
North replied, ‘I don’t know, because I already do a lot of stuff that I want to be when I grow up. I just want to pursue my careers now.’
West has followed in her father’s music footsteps and earlier this year in March – she announced her plans to release a debut album called Elementary School Dropout , and pays tribute to Kanye’s 2004 LP, The College Dropout.
While talking to her mother for Interview Magazine, North revealed that her three favorite artists are Tyler, the Creator, Yuno Miles and also Nicki Minaj.
For Halloween, she said that she also plans to dress like Tyler, the Creator. When the SKIMS founder questioned ‘how many looks’ of the music artist she plans to wear, North replied, ‘Two.’
She also revealed, ‘I’m going to be a sailor pirate and a mermaid with my two besties. Shout out to them.
‘And I’m going to be Kai [Cenat] and Tyla. I’m going to be Nicki Minaj, and then I’m going to be Princess Peach and Princess Daisy with Chi.’
Elsewhere in the interview, North expressed that if she had a superpower, she wanted the ability to ‘pause time.’
‘When I was in class one day last year, I was like, “I want to pause time and get all my work done, and then run out of class and go to Starbucks, and then go around to Japan and then go everywhere!”‘
North was also asked what she does if her three siblings are ‘annoying’ her, and replied with, ‘When they’re annoying me, I’ll just be like, “Yo, get out my room. I’m not feeling this, for real.”‘
And towards the end of the conversation, Kim asked her daughter to offer an opinion on her cooking skills at home.
‘You haven’t cooked for us in a long time,’ North answered. ‘Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago.’
The pair recalled how the TV personality made macaroni and cheese at that time, with Kim adding, ‘And fried chicken and cornbread. I’m a one-trick pony. Is that one meal good?’
The 11-year-old replied, ‘It’s good. It’s just that you’re really good at making me cucumbers and salt’ – which also happens to be North’s favorite food.
Along with cover photo for Interview Magazine, North also posed for additional pictures for the Fall 2024 issue.
In other images, she wore a light gray sweatshirt as well as baggy jeans and sported white, feathery wings.
She stood in a spacious area in front of a black wall as she held an excited smile on her face, and in another photo, turned away from the camera to better show off the wings.
North later stepped into a crane machine filled with stuffed animals while wearing a short-sleeved, black shirt and a fuzzy hat on top of her head.
The eldest daughter of Kim and Kanye smiled and also sent a friendly wave to the camera during the photo session.
