Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed for Sweden on a two-day visit to represent Nigeria in bilateral discussions.
Acting on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, Shettima will hold high-level talks with key Swedish officials, including Crown Princess Victoria and the Prime Minister.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the visit aims to enhance cooperation between Nigeria and Sweden in sectors like ICT, innovation, education, digitalisation, sustainable transport, mining, and agriculture.
Additionally, Shettima is expected to meet with important figures from both the government and private sector during the trip.
