Actor Jamie Foxx, was hospitalized after a glass was thrown at him during a heated altercation at his birthday dinner at the Beverly Hills restaurant Mr. Chow. The incident occurred around 10 PM, prompting police intervention. However, Foxx had left the scene before their arrival.
According to a spokesperson, Foxx was struck in the mouth by the glass, requiring stitches. The altercation allegedly began when patrons at a nearby table behaved rudely and vulgarly, prompting Foxx to request they stop due to his family’s presence, including his daughters and former partner Kristin Grannis. The matter is now under police investigation, with law enforcement planning to follow up with Foxx for further details.
The incident comes shortly after Foxx opened up about his earlier health scare, during which he suffered a brain bleed and was unconscious for weeks. His sister’s quick action and prayers were credited with saving his life.
