A new report reveals that billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is set to marry his fiancée Lauren Sanchez next Saturday in a lavish $600 million wedding in Aspen, Colorado.
The couple, engaged in May 2023, will celebrate their winter wonderland-themed nuptials with festive decorations, twinkling lights, and holiday charm, according to reports. Prior to the wedding, they are said to have rented out the upscale sushi restaurant Matsuhisa for a celebration.
The event is expected to be star-studded, following a high-profile engagement celebration in Positano, Italy, attended by figures like Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Queen Rania of Jordan. Bezos, 60, and Sanchez, 54, have not confirmed their wedding date, and their representatives were unavailable for comment on the report.
Bezos and Sanchez, who began dating in 2018, publicly revealed their relationship in 2019 after Bezos’s divorce from MacKenzie Scott. Rumors of their engagement began in 2019 when Sanchez was seen wearing a large heart-shaped ring. Bezos proposed on his luxury yacht with a cushion-cut pink diamond valued at $2.5 million.
The wedding news coincides with a nationwide strike against Amazon, as workers in four states protest for the third consecutive day.
