President-elect Donald Trump reiterated his belief that he was “right about everything” after falsely attributing the New Orleans attack to immigration.
On Truth Social, he criticized open borders and weak leadership, calling the country a “disaster” and urging the CIA to intervene.
The New Orleans attack involved a truck driven into a crowd, killing 14 people, with authorities identifying the suspect as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a Texas army veteran with alleged ties to ISIS.
Despite this, Trump blamed Democrats, federal agencies, and President Joe Biden’s policies, labeling Biden the “worst president in U.S. history.” Authorities confirmed the incident was not linked to the U.S.-Mexico border, contradicting earlier claims.
