After a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in Rwanda’s Huye Stadium, the Super Eagles have returned home.
Zimbabwe took the lead with Walter Musona’s long-range free kick in the 26th minute, but Super Eagles’ Kelechi Iheanacho equalized 25 minutes from the end.
The team’s return was announced on their official handle with the caption, “Arrival from Rwanda.”
With two qualifiers left, the Super Eagles are yet to secure a win.
Their upcoming match is against Lesotho in June 2024.
South Africa leads the group, having won their first game and will face Rwanda on Tuesday.
