Prince Harry’s U.S. visa application records are set to be released on Tuesday, according to reports. Judge Carl Nichols of the D.C. district court ordered the release after The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Department of Homeland Security, according to reports
The Heritage Foundation, known for its Project 2025 policy guide aligned with former President Donald Trump’s agenda, has alleged that Harry may have misrepresented past drug use, which could have impacted his visa eligibility. In his 2023 memoir Spare, Harry openly discussed his past experiences with marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelics.
Per the court order, the Department of Homeland Security will release a redacted version of Harry’s application by Tuesday.
In March 2024, Trump commented on Harry’s immigration status, telling GB News that if authorities found evidence of deception, “they’ll have to take appropriate action.”
Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, stepped back from their royal roles in 2020, relocating first to Canada and later to California, where they currently live with their children, Archie and Lilibet. Meanwhile, Meghan recently launched her lifestyle brand As Ever and premiered her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, which has been renewed for a second season.
