The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed Commissioner Adegoke Fayoade to lead the Lagos State Police Command.
Previously, the command was overseen by Acting CP Waheed Ayilara following the promotion of former CP Idowu Owohunwa to Assistant Inspector General of Police.
This update was confirmed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police Muyiwa Adejobi, in a tweet on Tuesday.
