The nation vowed to neutralize any attempt by the US and its allies to spark a nuclear war, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring peace and security in the Korean peninsula.
Additionally, North Korea criticized the US for collaborating with South Korea on nuclear operation scenarios during joint drills, labeling missile maneuvers as a direct threat and pledging to prepare “offensive countermeasures.”
The Biden administration issued a warning, asserting that any North Korean attack on the South would be met with a swift, overwhelming, and decisive response.
Despite warnings, North Korea, under Kim Jong Un, has conducted over 100 missile tests in 2022, aiming to expand its nuclear program, having already developed and tested ballistic missiles capable of reaching South Korea, Japan, and the US.
