One of the two Israeli women, Yocheved Lifshitz, released by Hamas yesterday has shared her experiences during her captivity in Gaza, shedding light on the treatment she received.
On Monday, October 23, after enduring a harrowing ordeal for two weeks, Yocheved Lifshitz was finally set free. She revealed on Tuesday, October 24, that she had been subjected to mistreatment during her abduction, with physical harm inflicted on her, though her ribs remained intact. Surprisingly, she also disclosed that, during her captivity, she and other hostages were treated reasonably well.
Yocheved Lifshitz, a resident of the Nir Oz kibbutz near the Gaza Strip, became a victim of the Hamas militants’ attack on October 7.
Her husband, also in his 80s, remains among more than 200 hostages still held in Gaza.
