The FIFPro team shortlist for 2023, announced on Wednesday, will be revealed at The Best FIFA Football Awards in London on January 15.
Cristiano Ronaldo, leading scorer in the Saudi Pro League, and Lionel Messi headline the list, along with Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, and Karim Benzema.
The World 11 will consist of the goalkeeper and top three players in each position, determined by votes from over 28,000 professional footballers.
Criteria include performances from December 19, 2022, to August 20, 2023, with players needing at least 23 games during this period. In the women’s category, Aitana Bonmati, Jenni Hermoso, Lauren James, and Sam Kerr are among the nominees.
