Actor Adan Canto passed away on Monday at the age of 42, as confirmed by both Deadline and Variety.
Reports suggest he was privately battling appendiceal cancer.
Known for his roles in shows like “Designated Survivor” and “The Following,” Canto starred in the Fox drama “The Cleaning Lady” but is absent from its upcoming third season premiering on March 5.
Before his Hollywood career, he was a musician in Mexico. His film credits include “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “Bruised.”
