Former WWE Superstar Killer Khan, also known as Masashi Ozawa, passed away on December 29 at the age of 76.
He succumbed to a ruptured artery, losing consciousness at Kanchan’s Jinjo Sakaba in Japan before being rushed to the hospital.
WWE expressed sadness, recognizing Khan’s imposing presence in the ring and his notable rivalries with legends like Andr the Giant, Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, and Hulk Hogan. Khan debuted in professional wrestling in Japan in 1971, joined WWE in 1980, and later had a successful career with Stampede Wrestling.
After retiring in 1987, he ventured into the restaurant business in Tokyo.
Fans paid tribute to him on social media, acknowledging his impact on the wrestling world.
