A private jet, carrying 10 individuals, including passengers and crew, crash-landed in Ibadan, Southwest Nigeria.
The incident occurred at Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport around 11 am on Friday.
The jet, identified by registration number N580KR, veered off the runway into nearby bushes.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, and emergency teams from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria promptly responded.
According to Carol Adekotujo, a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, the plane, originating from Abuja, landed safely but overshot the runway.
Tunji Oketunmbi from the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau is yet to provide further details.
This incident follows a similar one in November 2023 when Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu narrowly escaped a crash landing at the same airport.
