In a statement, the 75-year-old monarch thanked well-wishers and acknowledged the comfort such sentiments bring to those affected by cancer.
Charles also noted the positive impact of his diagnosis in highlighting organizations supporting cancer patients.
Despite limited details on his condition, the palace affirmed his positive outlook, while Queen Camilla reported on Thursday that Charles is doing “extremely well,” emphasizing the remaining royals’ role in maintaining the monarchy’s public presence during his treatment and Kate’s recovery.
