Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic emerged victorious at the Miss World 2024 pageant in Mumbai, India, triumphing over 111 contestants from around the world.
The event featured various competitions, narrowing down the field to the top 40 and eventually the top 12, with Pyszková impressing in the Q&A round by addressing women’s health issues.
The final four contestants pitched their philanthropic platforms to “Shark Tank India” moguls, with Pyszková securing the crown over runners-up from Lebanon, Trinidad and Tobago, and Botswana.
The Miss World pageant, established in 1951, has a rich history, and Pyszková succeeds Karolina Bielawska of Poland as the reigning Miss World.
