The Defence Headquarters has released the identities of the 17 military personnel who lost their lives in an incident in Delta State.
In the village of Okuama, located in Delta State’s Ughelli South Local Government Area, military servicemen were tragically killed while on a peacekeeping mission last week.
Following this appalling act, the Defence Headquarters confirmed the loss of 17 lives, including the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 12 battalion members.
The Nigerian Army shared a heartfelt message on its official platform, offering condolences and praying for the departed souls, along with a photo collage of the fallen personnel.
